I notice the hand-made wooden bodied plane used in the "Woodworking Space" header. I own 6 or seven of these that I have picked up over the years at auctions and yard sales. They aren't very useful for practical purposes, but they are nice to have as a collector of older tools, and a great conversation piece. I own about 30 planes in total.

A couple of years ago I decided to build myself a couple of poker tables for my annual "Super Bowl Poker Night". Nice deep trays to hold your poker chips, cup holders keep the drinks from spilling, and a foam-backed waterproof top makes it easy to scoop up cards and chips. They cost me about $300 each to build, but well worth the effort.

While everyone has been shooting contrast pics, actually using tonal contrast, I have been playing with a different type. That is focal contrast. IE keeping the main object in sharp focus and blurring the rest of the frame. This is done placing a foreground object in sharp focus, opening up your lens to its widest aperture and let the lens do its magic, blurring our the extraneous background.
