THE QUEEN OF ROCK'N ROLL - Janis Joplin was a late 60s blues style rock singer. She performed at the historic Woodstock Music Festival in 1969. Unfortunatley in 1970 her untimely death came to be that shocked the music industry and her numerous fans. BACK TO 1963 - The 409 engine was and still is one of the most powerful and popular engines of all time. The Beach boys even composed a song based on the engine. Take a tour with Saultite Allan Gold of his good friend Frank Van De Peer's Dream Garage. Frank is a life long Drag Racer that resides in Southern Ontario. Pictured below is Frank's Pontiac GTO Judge that produces 830 Horsepower. When this video was taken Frank was 78 years old and was still active on the drag strip.
