With a trade war between Canada and the U.S. now officially here, I ran around bugging shoppers at local grocery stores to see how their shopping habits have changed. Border traffic was down last month, as well, and it’s good to get out and add some perspective to the numbers by talking to everyday people.

It was good to see this Sault centenarian receive his Second World War service medals. Mel Mizzi did work of a secret nature as a signalman with the Canadian Army in World War II and helped save hundreds of lives from enemy attacks.
