BAYVIEW THEN AND NOW .......The corner at Wallace Terrace and Goulais Ave was a hub of activiity in the late 60s and early 70s. Bear's Billiards was located on the South East side of the interesection with plenty of parking space and where baby boomers would hang out with their high performance cars the likes of 440 Cudas, 340 Demons, Chargers. Camaros, Roadrunners, 63 & 64 Chevrolet Impalas, Cougers and more. On the North East side was Deluca's Pizzeria. Mrs. Lisa Deluca ran the restaurant at that time and her pizza was known to be the best in the west. Most times the restaurant was packed with customers outside waiting to get in, in the late evenings and after time spent Cruizin Queen and after bars closed. Years would pass since Mrs. Lisa Deluca closed the business but years later the name 'Deluca's Pizzeria' is proudly displayed again on the outside. Vince Deluca (son of Mrs. Lisa Deluca) would open up the Pizzaria on Feb 26, 2018 and has become as popular as it once was because of its famous Pizza, which is made according to the recipe that Mrs. Deluca passed down to Vince.
