Hello music fans and welcome to wonderful Wednesday. Another weekend of rockin music is just around the corner. Just a reminder, that the Eagles tribute band, Hotel California, is coming to the Soo June 28th at the Roberta Bondar Pavilion. Doors open at 6:30pm and show starts at 7pm with opening act Headrush. Tickets are $33 plus taxes/fees and are on sale now. With a limited quantity available, purchase tickets today at gflgardens.ca/bondarevents or visit the GFL Memorial Gardens box office. Playing to huge outdoor and arena audiences and sharing the stage with some legends, Hotel California has gone to places no tribute band has gone before. With incredible lead vocal similarity, intensely accurate instrumental work, soaring harmonies, and top-flight live performances, Hotel California’s show has evolved into a masterful celebration of the Eagles’ music. Earlier this week was the AMA Awards 2025 with a stunning list of winners. A full list of winners is available at cbsnews.com. Jennifer Lopez was the host, who again stunned the audience with her racy outfit changes and hot dance moves. Other notables such as Janet Jackson won the Icon Award, while Rod Stewart won the Lifetime Achievement Award. Stewart is also launching his final farewell tour. The 80 year old has been in the music industry since 1962. By the way, Rod Stewart is in Toronto July 22 at Budweiser Stage starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are available online.
