Yesterday our readers learned more about Emmet Paradis, the intern that has been working in our newsroom since the start of March.
Emmet has been busy travelling around the Sault by bus for stories and to take photos for Spaces.
As you may know, doing an internship is a way to gain hands-on experience before officially joining the workforce.
Hands-on experience is especially important in a field like journalism, where job shadowing and mentorship can play an important role.
Emmet will return home at some point this weekend and then will be heading to Queen's University.
