When I was still in elementary school, I was taken to a city council meeting, I believe as part of a Boy Scouts of Canada program. But for that opportunity, I doubt I’d be doing what I do today. I love to see young people in the council chambers, especially when there are serious efforts made to encourage youth empowerment.
