I am having eavestroughs installed, and the downpipe will terminate into a 4" underground pipe which I will drain away from the house.

It's a short run underground (maybe 8ft) but will be under a walkway so I want to get something that: will not crack with temp changes/freezing water, and will not get crushed underground.

I've read that PVC is not good for our climate, that corrugated is cheap but not very strong. Not sure if anyone sells double-walled corrugated here in SSM. Recommendations are welcome.
