Last year I did a complete strip down and rebuild of my 1972 CCM Turismo. This bike has been a regular rider for me since about 2010. My dad bought it new in 1972 and when I was getting into cycling while living in London he took it out of storage and gave it to me. I worked on it regularly to keep it rolling but last year it got the full rebuild it deserved.
It's still my regular rider. It's due for the rims to be respoked this season and at some point those beautiful chrome chainrings are going to be too worn out and I'll be on the hunt for replacements but keeping this bike on the road is nothing but good smiles per mile.
